• Bodham and Beckham ‘good neighbour’ scheme

As many of you may be aware, a Bodham and Beckham villages ‘Good Neighbour’ scheme has been set up as a response to the current Covid19 Corona virus pandemic which has resulted in many of our residents having to self isolate or socially distance themselves. Understandably, this may prevent people going about their usual errands; shopping for groceries, collecting prescriptions, and posting mail, for example and cause a great deal of anxiety for people. This scheme is here to help you.

The coordinator for this scheme is Mel Clarke, and her details are below. Mel will take all calls, emails, etc and will either remotely assist where possible, or delegate jobs to one of our team of volunteers. If you or someone you know requires any assistance then please do not hesitate to get in touch, it is what we are here to do.

If you would like to offer your services as a ‘good neighbour’ and can help people by collecting groceries, dog walking, or even just a friendly phone call, and other such tasks as they arise, please do get in touch either with Mel, or myself ([email protected]) and you can be added to our volunteer list. Many thanks to Mel, and all our volunteers, for their help. Please look out for one another in this difficult period.
